Welcome to the 603 Website!
Announcements:
►Prescription medication for camp
must be brought in by a parent. Parents can bring in these medicines
on May 14 and 15th between 7am and 3pm to the front office.
►We
need donations to help pay for students who can not afford to pay for
camp. If possible, please consider donating a few dollars to help
pay for students who are finding it difficult to pay for camp. We
would like to see all students go to camp no matter what their financial
situation currently is.
►Have old newspapers laying around?
Want to get rid of the extra paper laying around the house? Bring it to
the Shanahan Middle School recycling dumpster located in the back of the
school. The school earns money for every ton of paper we collect.
Every little bit helps!

Jessica Hughes
Welcome to team 603 Social Studies with Mrs. Hughes! This will be my 8th
year teaching middle school and first year at Shanahan. I received my
Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Childhood Education (4-9) concentrations
Science and Social Studies from Bowling Green State University and Masters
in Instructional Technology from Grand Canyon University. The past 7 years
I have been teaching 7th grade Science in Southern California. As much as
I loved California, my husband and I wanted to raise our boys (Owen 3 and
Cole almost 2) closer to family in our home state of Ohio. I look forward
to getting to know you and your child.
